      Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary on the Whole Bible — public domain, from the plain-text edition CrossWire's own SWORD Project MHCC module is built from (ccel.org).

      Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible (Jamieson, Fausset & Brown) — public domain, from the plain-text edition CrossWire's own SWORD Project JFB module is built from (ccel.org).

      Adam Clarke's Commentary on the Whole Bible — public domain, from the Wikisource edition CrossWire's own SWORD Project Clarke module now points to as its source text (en.wikisource.org).

      Matthew Henry's Complete Commentary, John Wesley's Explanatory Notes, Barnes' Notes on the New Testament, and Keil and Delitzsch's Commentary on the Old Testament — public domain, converted from the CrossWire Bible Society's SWORD modules (crosswire.org).

      People, places, events and Easton's Bible Dictionary come from Theographic Bible Metadata by Robert Rouse, licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. It includes M. G. Easton's Illustrated Bible Dictionary (1897, public domain) and place locations from OpenBible.info (CC BY 4.0). We reformatted the data for the app: verse links rebuilt, fields shortened. The reformatted files are shared under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. Timeline dates follow Theographic's traditional chronology and are approximate.
